Jessica's Guide To Dating On The Dark Side by Beth Fantaskey

Well how how would you fell if you were told that not only are you royalty but that you are a vampire as well on top of this being you senior year? Now you know how Jessica felt when a dark, young, and might I add handsome guy named Lucius walked quite literally into her life.
Now after learning all of this information Jessica is told to forget it all. All information on her birth parents, her adoptive parents, and her supposed betrothal to Lucius isn't as bad as she made it out to be at first. Now she finds herself longing to be with Lucius, but it seems now that he is longing to be away from her.
People aren't always what they seem. Now the big question is can Jessica make since of all of this information and mend the rift between to nations. Nations that could be no more if a wedding doesn't happen ... And time is of the essence.
I really enjoyed this book so much. This book is written in much as a personal journal that someone would write a great story in just to entertain there own imagination. The main characters are strong all the way around. I love Lucius-our male leading character-, he plays a very prominent role in the story line. Even though the story is about Jessica and discovers Lucius isn't just a background person. With out the information that he holds in the story it would be dual as all get out. The sets the classic tone in a romance story, teen novel or adult novel, he's the bad boy. He's dark natured but somewhat pale-faced. He's Strong, confident, arrogant, kind, lovable, and apparently absolutely sexy! What more could any red blooded hormonal girl ask for in a fictional guy? Right?
It's a thrilling story that will wet your appetite. The vampire theme isn't over done and isn't real dark. So it's safe for ages 10 and up. It is a little mature because it mentions sex, dating, death, and some dark magic. But parent do not fear this is not a "come to the dark side we have cookies" book. I give this book an awesome A.
As a bonus for all the readers of this book I encourage you all to go to Beth Fantaskey's website. She posted a short story about what happens after the end of the book. Go CHECK IT OUT!
