The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian

The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian

by Sherman Alexie

The absolutely not so true story about the true story of the authors’ full time life – as a kid, that is. Wow now that was a mouth full not unlike some of the words that our main character, Jr. comes up with. Jr.'s life is not the picturesque one that most would associate with life on a reservation. Jr. was born with a some physical deformations and a disease that put water in his brain. Hence he was the laughing stalk of the reservation. But this year is gona take Jr. on many new adventures packed with sports, first loves, comic drawing, outrages friends, and laugh out loud funniness.

This is a top notch book for anyone looking for a good read and funny laughs. If you’ve ever read any of Sherman Alexie’s other writings then you won’t be disappointed with this story what so ever. I give the book a positive A and rate it for any one with the warning of mild langue and one sexual suggestion.
